Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Forkstash mobile application and related services ("Service") provided by Wild Reed Software, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using Forkstash, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Forkstash, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Forkstash is a recipe management application that allows you to extract, save, organize, and cook from recipes found on the web and social media. The Service includes recipe extraction, library management, grocery list generation, and cooking mode features.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may use the Service as a guest (anonymous account) with limited features, or create a full account with email, Google, or Apple sign-in.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond normal app usage
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to extract and redistribute copyrighted recipe content at scale

5. Recipe Content

• Recipes you save are extracted from third-party websites for your personal, non-commercial use.
• We do not claim ownership of recipe content. Copyright for recipes remains with the original authors and publishers.
• You are responsible for your use of extracted content. Forkstash is a personal recipe organizer, not a recipe publishing platform.
• AI-powered extraction may not be 100% accurate. Always review extracted recipes before cooking, especially for allergen information and cooking temperatures.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

• Forkstash offers free and paid subscription tiers. Free-tier users have limited daily extractions and see advertisements.
• Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. Billing terms are governed by the respective app store's policies.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The Forkstash app, brand, design, and code are owned by Wild Reed Software, LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Recipe extraction will be 100% accurate — always verify ingredients, quantities, and cooking instructions
• The Service will meet all of your requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wild Reed Software, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages from inaccurate recipe extraction, food preparation based on extracted recipes, or loss of saved data.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wild Reed Software, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
